See if you are "searchable" in your settings. You know how you can browse around by clicking the "next blog" button at the top? If you remove that in settings or make your blog unfindable through a search, it cuts the spam down. I think that's what I did and I don't get weird comments. However, that may because I don't get much traffic! Ha!
