It's been raining. A lot. It's June, for the love of....OK, I mean it could be worse as far as weather is concerned. We've had some strange weather, but nothing like tornadoes or hurricanes, so I'll just stop complaining. However, this weather is great for Sophia's new hobby. She likes to play with snails. No, salt is not included. She creates snail farms. She pulls them out of their shell for inspections (I actually looked this up and snails do live without shells--they are called slugs.). She feeds them, sprays them with water, takes them for rides on the trampoline. And these silly things love her. I do not know why they haven't written in sparkly snail trail to warn others of Sophia. It seems if anything, more are showing up. So what to do on yet another rainy day? Bundle the girl up and let her have her fun. And then completely disinfect her and scrub her clean after her fun has been had.

Asher is snail-obsessed, too, but it never occurred to me to let him pull them out. Glad you did the research. Does she just yank them out?
